The Statistical Offi ce in Łódź is pleased to present t he twenty-fi rst edition of the „Statistical Yearbook of the Łódzkie Voivodship” – the one of the most important position in Editorial Title-Plan. The current edition has been prepared in the new form, which provides the reference image but, at the same time, it preserves its previous cognitive and informative function. The statistical tables are complemented with maps and charts which enriched the substantive context of the Yearbook. Moreover, the graphical presentation of statistical data allows for easier understanding of information and relations of spatial phenomena. This publication contains the wide range of information characterizing the living standard of society and the state of the voivodship’s economy. Detailed statistical data have been grouped into 22 chapters.

The Statistical Office in Łódź presents you the new, already the 14th edition of the "Statistics of Łódź" – which for over twenty years, has been providing major statistical data characterizing the capital city of the region. The publication starts with two summary tables including major statistical information describing the city across the years 2000-2019 and presenting Łódź on the background of the voivodship in 2019. The second part contains a rich collection of data characterizing various aspects of economic and social life of the city in recent years. Due to biannual editorial cycle, the statistical evidence presented in this part concerns reference years 2018 and 2019.
