The Statistical Office in Łódź presents the new edition of the publication "Statistics of Łódź" – which for over twenty years, has been providing major statistical data characterizing the capital city of the region.
The publication starts with summary tables including major statistical information describing the city across the years 2000–2021 and presenting Łódź on the background of the voivodship in 2021. The main part contains
a wide collection of data characterizing various aspects of economic and social life of the city in years 2020 and 2021. Additionally, the current edition presents the preliminary results of the National Population
and Housing Census 2021 on the state and structure of the population, the housing stock and the economic activity.
Detailed tables have been preceded with methodological notes on sources and scope of presented data as well as definitions of terms used. A collection of graphs illustrating some features, phenomena and observed
tendencies constitutes a supplement to the results presented in tables. In addition to the printed version, the publication is prepared in electronic format, available at the website of the Statistical Office in Łódź.
