Statistical Office in Łódź presents “The report on socio-economic situation of the Lodzkie Voivodship in 2018”, the following edition of the publication included in the analytical system of regional studies. The elaboration provides the latest statistical data concerning significant phenomena in social and economic spheres.
The scope of the publication includes, as in previous years, data on demography, labour market, social benefits, housing construction, agriculture, industry and construction, internal market, financial results and investment outlays of enterprises.
The study summarises the most recent data, analyses the changes as compared to 2010, presents the voivodship values in relation to the national aggregates and on the background of other voivodships as well as broken down by powiat. The analysis is enriched by graphs and cartograms.
A set of tables, supplementing the publication, contains selected statistical information on the Lodzkie Voivodship for years 2005-2018 and monthly data presented for the last two years.
Selection and presentation of the data, adopted by all statistical offices, so common for all the voivodships, enables cross-country comparisons of basic indicators and regional diversity analyses.
