This study presents the results of the National Census of Population and Housing which has been conducted from 1 April to 30 September 2021, as of the state on March 31, 2021, devoted to the demographic and social characteristics of households and families. The study contains information on the number, size and generational composition of households. In addition, families were separated from households and grouped according to the adopted typology, as well as families with dependent children aged up to 24 were also characterized. The graphical presentation of the data is the supplementary of the analytical elaboration presented in the publication. On the Statistical Offi  ce’s webside is also available the tabular part of the publication, containing result tables with data from the 2021 census for Łódzkie Voivodship. Result data obtained in the census in a broader thematic scope, are published in the Local Data Bank and on the Statistics Poland website in the thematic area “Public Censuses”. The methodological comments in the publication were prepared on the basis of the Statistics Poland publications, presenting the results, methodology and organization of the census.
