Statistical Offi ce in Łódź presents the next edition of the publication "Living conditions of the population in the Łódzkie Voivodship in 2017", which aims to assess the standard of living of the inhabitants of the Łódzkie Voivodship and determines its position in terms of selected indicators among other voivodships.
The publication consists of three parts. The fi rst part is an executive summary, which describes the main conclusions of the analysis presented in the further part of the study, indicating the changes in the year.
The second part includes the analysis of partial indicators for each group of variables as well as the synthetic indicator, and it’s preceded by description of the variables and the methods of synthetic indicator construction. The results of the analysis are also shown in maps.
The third part of the publication presents the Łódzkie Voivodship in comparison with other voivodships on the basis of selected indicators describing living conditions of the population in 2017. This part has been enriched with graphs that allow comparisons among voivodships.
We hope the publication will constitute a valuable source of information for all people and institutions interested in the subject of living conditions of the population in the Łódzkie Voivodship.
