The Statistical Office in Łódźdeclares to ensure the accessibility of its website in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 4 April 2019 on the Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Entities. The website is partially compliant with the Act of 4 April 2019 on the Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Entities due to the non-compliance and exceptions listed below:
- Some PDF files are not digitally accessible (their logical structure is not correctly marked or that are scans of documents).
- Some published infographics do not have an alternative description or an alternative version of the data.
- Some of the published photos do not have an alternative description, however they are not used to carry out current tasks.
- There are available links whose title is the same as the content of the link, links are not visually highlighted on some pages, there are empty links.
- Some fields in the forms are not correctly labeled.
- There are tables presenting data without titles and summaries.
- Some tables presenting data do not have properly defined headers connected to the data
- Some elements in the service are not available using the keyboard and do not have an available alternative
- Keyboard navigation on some subpages does not take place in a logical order in relation to the content of the page
- Headings on some pages are not assigned to the appropriate elements and in the correct order, there are empty headings
- For some page elements, the contrast of the text to the background is not at least 4.5:1, but the page has alternate contrasts
- There is no "skip link" on the website.
- The text is fully justified.

Everyone has the right to request the digital accessibility of a indicated element of the website. You may also that the information to be made available using an alternative means of access, such as reading out a digitally inaccessible document, describing the content of a video/film without an audio description, etc. The request should include the contact information of the person making the request, indicate the specific website in question, and provide a preferred method of contact. If the requesting person requires information to be presented in an alternative format, they should specify their preferred method of receiving that information.
The Statistical Office in Łódź should fulfill the request immediately, no later than within 7 days from the date of the request. Architectural accessibility
Building: Statistical Office in Łódź, 29 Suwalska Street, 93-176 Łódź
There is one main entrance to the building from the 29 Suwalska Street. The building consists of nine floors.
The main hall is accessible from the outside by stairs., on the right side of the stairs there is a wheelchair ramp. The access to the building is paved with lowered curbs.
The information desk is located on the left side of the main entrance.
The building of the Statistical Office in Łódź is to a large extent adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. On the ground floor, to the right of the entrance, there is a customer service room, accessed by sliding doors equipped with motion sensors enabling automatic opening. The service room also has lowered countertops to facilitate access for people in wheelchairs. There is a station in the room equipped with an induction loop.
A toilet for people with disabilities is located on the ground floor of the main hall, to the left of the entrance, behind the reception desk.
There is a designated 2 parking spaces for people with disabilities in front of the building. There are neither Braille markings in the building, nor contrast or enlarged markings for the blind and visually impaired.
The are two passenger elevators in the building, which are not equipped with sliding doors.
There are no thresholds in the building that would hinder moving around in wheelchairs, the doors leading to upper floors of the office are wide enough to enable people with disabilities to move around freely.
During a visit to the Office and its branches, you can use the help of a sign language interpreter. The intention to use this assistance should be reported no later than 3 working days before the date of the intended visit. Building: Statistical Office in Łódź, Branch in Sieradz, Plac Wojewódzki 3, 98-200 Sieradz
Statistical Office in Łódź, Branch in Sieradz is located on the eighth floor of the County Office building in Sieradz. There are 2 parking spaces for people with disabilities in front of the building. A stairs leads to the main hall from outside, a wheelchair ramp is on the right side. The access to the building is paved. You can get there by municipal transport - line no. 101 and by public transport - lines no. 1, 5, 6, 11.
The reception desk is located on the left side of the main entrance. Opposite the entrance to the building there is an illuminated information board. The building of the County Office in Sieradz is largely adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. The entrance stairs have contrasting markings.
A toilet for people with disabilities is located on the ground floor of the main hall, opposite the entrance. All toilets have information signs in Braille.
The entrance to the building and the communication routes (also on the 8th floor) are wide enough and without thresholds. Access to the 8th floor is possible using one of three elevators fully adapted to the needs of disabled people. The elevators have sliding doors and and verbal information system. In addition, the buttons on the numeric keypad in the elevator are easily tactile. They have convex numbers and symbols on them. Additionally, there are Braille signs on the numeric keys.
In the building, on each floor, at the exit from the elevators, there are signs informing about the layout of the rooms on a given floor with inscriptions in Braille.
Building: Statistical Office in Łódź, Branch in Piotrków Trybunalski, 65 Wronia Street, 97-300 Piotrków Trybunalski
There is one main entrance to the building from the 65 Wronia Street.. The branch occupies part of the second and third floors. You can get there by public transport - bus no. 5.
The reception desk is located on the right side of the main entrance, behind the reception desk there are two passenger elevators.
The ward rooms can be accessed from the ground floor by one of the passenger elevators, which can accommodate a wheelchair but are not equipped with sliding doors.
Customer service rooms (information point, Statistical Information Centre and Regon registration) are located next to each other in the open area of the branch, on the second floor to the left of the elevators. During office hours, the door to the service area remains open.
A toilet for of people with disabilities is located on the ground floor of the main hall, to the right of the entrance, behind the reception desk.
There are 2 designated parking spaces for individuals with special needs in front of the building.
There are neither Braille markings in the building, nor contrast or enlarged markings for the blind and visually impaired.
Building: Statistical Office in Łódź, Branch in Brzeziny, 14 Sienkiewicza Street, 95-060 Brzeziny
There is one main entrance to the building from the Sienkiewicza Street. The building consists of four floors, three of which are above ground. Access to the building is via two paved paths starting with a curb, which constitutes a barrier for people with disabilities. You can get there by interurban transport or own transport.
There is no reception desk in the building, and visitors are received in the Regon room, which is located on the first floor, to the right of the staircase (room no. 5).
The building of the Branch of Statistical Office in Łódź is not adapted to the needs of people with mobility disabilities (stairs, no elevator) or for the blind and visually impaired (there are neither Braille markings, nor contrast or enlarged markings in the building).
There is no toilet for people with disabilities.
The Office does not have designated parking spaces for people with disabilities.
Assistance dogs are allowed to enter building of the Statistical Office in Łodź and its Branches.
