The publication presents the results of the 2021 National Population and Housing Census, which was carried out in Poland from April 1 to September 30, 2021, as of the state on March 31, 2021.
The publication contains information on the number of buildings by their type, age and size, as well as data on the housing stock located in residential buildings in łódzkie voivodship. It also contains information on qualitative aspects of the existing housing stock, i.e. the size and age of dwellings, their equipment with technical and sanitary installations, housing conditions of the population.
The analysis also takes into account the characteristics of residential buildings by ownership forms and period of building construction. The results of the census for łódzkie voivosdship are presented against the data for Poland and in the cross-section of powiats and gminas.
The study, in addition to the analytical commentary, contains a graphic presentation in the form of maps and charts. The tabular annex is available only in electronic form on the website of the Statistical Office in Łódź.
Result data obtained in the census, in a broader thematic scope, are published in the Local Data Bank (National Census) and on the Census website in the thematic area “National Census”. The methodological comments were prepared on the basis of the Statistics Poland publication presenting the results, methodology and organization of the census.
